We have stories, contacts and images that can be sent to you. Just call and ask. Our key messages are1.Churches, charities and clubs will be drained by £100 million. 2.Only big business will benefit as their bills reduce. 3.Ofwat are wrong to say the rain tax is fair. Draining resources in this way is unfair. What the DontDrainUs.org campaign is working for1. A review by the Government of the charging mechanism with serious consideration given to regulations that would introduce a charity band or the return to rateable value charging for churches, clubs and charities. 2. An investigation into why Ofwat ignored government guidelines and encouraged water companies to charge churches, clubs and charities as commercial enterprises. Coverage
